Study of Helical Antenna Endowing Short Wire Length and Compact Structure for High-Frequency Operations and Its Exclusive Manufacturing Process

In this paper a study of helical antenna resonating at high-frequency (HF) band with very compact structure is reported. The designed antenna's S11 parameter magnitude change frequency was calculated for different geometrical parameters. For each case, first, only single changed. Then fair comparison, multiple parameters were changed simultaneously while the total wire length set to be constant. Also, shifts in resonance frequencies and variations -10 dB bandwidths investigated. Our results show that behaviour changes distinctively it allows shortening length. antenna, resonances shift lower around decrease as winding thickness, number turns, turn radius increase. Whereas spacing increases higher widen, although increases. To verify simulation results, fabricated an exclusive manufacturing process characterized. measurement are good agreement results. It demonstrates feasibility proposed technique, which new literature enables accurate rigid fabrication simple low-cost steps.
